We have a chat channel on the IRC for people to meet and talk in real time.
To access it, you will need an IRC client, which is a program you download onto you computer, or use a web client.
There are IRC clients available for several operating systems. These include:

Once you have downloaded and installed a client, you can connect to the chat using these settings:

• Nickname: (choose any name to represent you)
• Server: irc.freenode.net
• Port: 6667
• Channel: #learnanylanguage

If you are unable or do not want to download and install an IRC client, you may use the following Web Client to access the channel.
Put in a nick you would like to use and click "Go", then follow the security instructions you will see.
