| Social Networking | August 20, 2010 | Now there is a Social Networking system that is similar to the "wall" function on Facebook. Members can post updates on what they are doing and see what their buddies are also doing.
The profile picture system has also been updated. This is a place for people to post pictures and albums with their profiles. |

| Voice chat | August 08, 2010 | | We have now installed a voice chat server using Teamspeak 3. With it, you can practice your speaking skills with other members. It requires you to install a Teamspeak 3 client on your computer. Hope to hear you there! |

| Parleremo YouTube | May 01, 2010 | For all those that love using YouTube to watch videos on your favorite languages and cultures, a YouTube section has now been added. It allows members to search YouTube for videos and store the ones they think others might find useful for easier retrieval.
Also, this is now stored along with the Cinema, Radio, TV, and Newsstand sections in a new "Media Center", which can be found under the "About Town" menu. |

| Journaling System | February 25, 2010 | | There is now a journaling system for every member to use. It is a combination of blogs, including images, links, and RSS feed, and a "lang-8" style set up for having people correct entries. Check under profiles for "My Journals" or under Community for "Journals". |

| New Television Station | January 19, 2010 | A "Television Station" has now been created, allowing people to watch TV channels from other countries. It requires a Windows Media Player plugin ('mplayer' for Linux users).
This is similar to the existing "Radio Station", which provides streaming radio from other countries. Both systems are sorted by language, and both systems can be opened as "popups", in a smaller window which can kept opening while using other parts of the site.
